Telling the story of The Firepit from its humble beginnings.

In 2020 NoChintz were appointed to create a new brand identity and interior standard for The Firepit, restaurant and cocktail bar.

The new look for the brand is original, authentic and designed to ignite an unrivalled dining experience. Smoky tones and a relaxed, natural atmosphere is brought through the use of materials which directly reference the cooking process of the food. Dried woods, charred timbers and rich charcoal tones work together to create an authentic backdrop whilst nude leathers and warm amber lighting illuminate the scheme. Creating an aspirational setting which draws you near.

 

The new brand standard was rolled out into two of the existing Firepit locations; Rawtenstall and Blackburn. Both spaces take on existing features of the venues with the palette of timbers, Tom Dixon lighting, dark tones and nude leathers layered into the space to create the signature Firepit look.

 

Every aspect of brand is influenced by the fundamentals of the firepit. The form and texture of charcoal is a key feature, from the playful marks across menus and socials, to the shapes of restaurant signage. A colour palette of rich charcoal black and ash grey is punctuated by warm, inviting tones of yellow and pink. Alongside a bold typographic voice the new restaurant image is both exciting and welcoming.
