Briefed to create a space which evoked a sense of community, NoChintz devised and delivered a scheme which took inspiration from the buildings location on the River Irwell to create a organicity to the space with moments designed for natural connections.

Taking inspiration from the river bed, a layered scheme of warm clay tones, stone forms and rich algae colourings come together in free flowing space. The space is composed to create moments of intimacy and drama amongst calm areas of reflection.

Natural materials are set against man made synthetics, in a celebration of diversity and the unity between nature and mankind. Bespoke art rugs were designed to further the narrative. Focussing on the layered bedrock and referencing the organic sediment compositions which create unique abstract pieces.
