The first Archie’s opened in Manchester in 2010 and became a instant hit. With demand ever-growing, 2019 saw Archie’s take a prime space in the Arndale Centre’s new Halle Square.
The brand’s largest outlet yet, NoChintz was tasked with designing a concept for Archie’s that took its cult status up a gear, transforming it into an iconic destination fit to draw crowds from across the country and even the world. This client dreams big and the studio had to pull out all the stops to realise its vision for the new flagship space.
NoChintz was tasked with designing a concept for Archie’s largest outlet yet, to see and be seen. Where stainless steel bespoke panels inspired by Miami sunsets meet statement hot pink which is offset by cool greys and paired with neon. A linear flow guides customers through the space, creating moments to pause and avenues to move down that offer an inviting environment where visitors feel both excited and at home.
The success of the new venue was key to the Archie’s brand being awarded a site at Manchester airport’s refreshed Terminal 1 and The Trafford Centre. If queues out of the door at Archie’s Arndale are anything to go by, this unique food and beverage concept, designed and delivered by NoChintz, will continue to fly.
